Ravens hire Marty Mornhinweg as quarterbacks coach

The Ravens have hired former New York Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg as their new quarterbacks coach. He replaces Rick Dennison, who left to become the Denver Broncos’ offensive coordinator under Gary Kubiak.

Mornhinweg will work with Joe Flacco, who is coming off a season in which he established career highs with 3,986 yards and 27 touchdowns.

“Marty is a great coach and is going to be a great addition for us,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said during a conference call on which he introduced new offensive coordinator Marc Trestman. “I know he’ll work really well with Marc and really well with Joe.”
