Digest: Former Terps wide receiver Amba Etta-Tawo named AP All-American

Syracuse wide receiver Amba Etta-Tawo, a graduate transfer from Maryland, was named a third-team All-American by the Associated Press. He becomes the Orange's first AP All-America honoree since Dwight Freeney in 2001.

Etta-Tawo, who caught 61 passes in three seasons with the Terps, finished his only season with Syracuse fourth in the country in receiving yards (1,482) and seventh in touchdowns (14). Both marks are school records in addition to his 94 receptions.
