Late touchdowns keep Severn unbeaten

Jacob Lilly caught a touchdown pass from Henry Rentz and Jacob Mandish returned an interception for another score to seal the deal as Severn defeated John Carroll, 27-14, on Saturday to remain unbeaten at 8-0 with two games left in the regular season.

The win gave the Admirals their best start since the 1993 season. Rentz also ran in a touchdown, while Jacob Jarosz returned a fumble for a score.

Severn travels to 1-7 St. Vincent Pallotti on Friday at 4 p.m. before returning home for a Saturday, Nov. 4, 1 p.m. matchup with rival St. Mary’s, which is riding a three-game winning streak and has outscored those opponents by 106 points. The Saints, tied for second in the Maryland...
