Eagles fall to Jets in final preseason game

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.Y. — If there were any roster decisions that hadn’t been made before the Philadelphia Eagles lined up against the New York Jets on Thursday night, there is little doubt they have their minds made up by now.

Even though the Eagles have until 4 p.m. on Saturday to trim their roster to the NFL regular-season limit of 53 players, the powers that be knew who they want to keep and who they don’t by the time the clock hit zero in the Jets’ 16-10 victory.

Now it’s just a guessing game for everyone else.
