1. Painter enjoying time with Flacco, Taylor so far

The past 12 months have been a bit of a whirlwind for new Ravens quarterback Curtis Painter. A year ago, he was expected to be the backup to Peyton Manning with the Indianapolis Colts, but Manning sat out the season with a neck injury. Kerry Collins was ineffective early, pushing Painter into the starting lineup for Week 4. He made eight starts for the Colts, who ultimately finished 2-14, before giving way to Dan Orlovsky.

  5. Game 13: Ravens dominate Colts from start to finish in 24-10 win

Perched behind the lectern after another hard day's work, Ravens running back Ray Rice glanced at the television to his left and saw that the Houston Texans had just scored a touchdown in the final seconds to beat the Cincinnati Bengals. Rice playfully pounded his hand on the rostrum.

  7. How should the Colts proceed with Manning, Luck?

Understandably, the Ravens weren’t all that interested in discussing Peyton Manning on Wednesday, as much as we would have liked them to. With their quarterback out all season with a neck injury, the 0-12 Indianapolis Colts have gone from AFC South champions in 2010 to last place in the entire league and likely the No. 1 pick.

  9. Pollard and Redding give a scouting report on Orlovsky

The Ravens are perhaps too familiar with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, who has beaten them in eight straight meetings, including the postseason. But with Manning out with a neck injury Sunday, they will get a chance to take out a decade of frustration on Dan Orlovsky.

  13. What they're saying: Ravens are doomed on the road

The Ravens lost on the road, 34-14, to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday night. And now that they are back in second place in the AFC North -- they will remain there unless the Pittsburgh Steelers lose another game -- the consensus among a sampling of national writers is that the Ravens will meet a similar fate in the playoffs.

  19. Pre-snap read: Ravens vs. Colts

The Ravens have everything to play for Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. They need to win to stay ahead of the streaking Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North. The Indianapolis Colts? They’re playing to avoid infamy. That shouldn’t be understated, though it’s also hard to ignore the wide gap in talent between these two teams. Here are five storylines to watch on Sunday as the 9-3 Ravens host the 0-12 Colts at The Bank:
