The Ravens have signed former Cincinnati Bengals safety Tom Nelson and waived injured undrafted rookie wide receiver Cam Worthy.
Nelson, 28, is going to attempt to play wide receiver for the Ravens. He tried out for the Ravens on Tuesday along with quarterbacks D.J. Williams, Trent Steelman and Austin Trainer, according to NFL sources.
Nelson was last with the Carolina Panthers during training camp last year, but didn't make the regular-season roster.
He played for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011, appearing in four games before being released. He also had a stint with the Chicago Bears in 2013.
