The Bears got set up with premium field position in the second half of Sunday's 28-20 upset of the 49ers, and Jay Cutler did exactly what quarterback coach Matt Cavanaugh talked about this offseason. He took what was there and moved on to the next play. With wide receivers Brandon Marshall (right ankle) and particularly Alshon Jeffery (left hamstring) not 100 percent, the Bears were forced into a more high-percentage and shorter-range passing game and Cutler resisted the urge to cut it loose.
