  2. Ravens scouting report Ravens vs. Steelers

    <strong>PASSING GAME:</strong> Quarterback Joe Flacco couldn't get much done against the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks ago as he completed 20 of 32 passes for 164 yards and no touchdowns. Pittsburgh cornerback Ike Taylor held Torrey Smith, the Ravens' top downfield threat, to one 7-yard catch, even though Smith was targeted seven times. The Ravens passing attack is ranked 11th in the NFL, but only one team (the Dallas Cowboys) has held Flacco under 300 passing yards at M&amp;T Bank Stadium this season.

    <strong>RAVENS PASSING GAME:</strong> Much has been made of quarterback Joe Flacco's struggles on the road, but he's beaten the Steelers with late drives in his last regular season visit to Heinz Field. He's also coming off a four-touchdown (three passing, one rushing) performance against the Oakland Raiders where wide receiver Jacoby Jones and tight ends Dennis Pitta and Ed Dickson returned to the game plan. The pressure will be on tackles Kelechi Osemele and Michael Oher to give Flacco time to throw downfield.

    The Ravens came into the 2012 NFL draft looking to round out their roster and add depth and create competition at several positions. They appear to have addressed all of their immediate needs, even if they made a few interesting selections Saturday. Linebacker Courtney Upshaw may end up being a steal and Kelechi Osemele and Gino Gradkowski bring athleticism and versatility to the offensive line.
