Report: Eagles to bring G John Moffitt out of retirement

A guard with a violent past that includes drug and alcohol abuse could be the man Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly turns to as a starter for his depth-challenged offensive line. John Moffitt, a third-round selection of the Seattle Seahawks out of Wisconsin in 2011, quit the game for what he called health reasons while playing for the Denver Broncos two years later. He is expected to come out of retirement and sign with the Eagles, according to Foxsports.com.
