1. Steelers' Dick LeBeau says 'it hurts to see the Ravens win anything'

It wasn’t easy for Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau to watch the Ravens win the Super Bowl two weeks ago. He told The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on Tuesday that “it hurts to see the Ravens win anything.” And that is especially true because he feels the Steelers could have been the ones playing in the Super Bowl.

Week 1 (Sept. 10) at M&T Bank Stadium: Ravens 44, Cincinnati Bengals 13 The Ravens began the 2012 season on a strong note, blowing out the Bengals in convincing fashion on Monday Night Football. Quarterback Joe Flacco threw for 299 yards and two...

  5. Ravens Q&A with Mike Preston

Bob in Ellicott City: Joe Flacco was on in Sunday's playoff game and showed mobility and pocket awareness not always evident. I am, however, puzzled as to why you never see Flacco doing his homework on the sidelines. All the other great quarterbacks are pouring over pictures, interpreting game schematics or talking things over with their team members or offensive coordinators. Joe is always just sitting on the bench! What am I missing?

  7. Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger making progress

The Ravens have not budged from their contention that no matter which Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback lines up under center Sunday, they are preparing to defend the offense, not the quarterback.

Kevin Cowherd Ravens 27, Broncos 24 Only because the Ravens are at home. And they're desperate. And they might have Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs back. And a three-game losing streak would cause The Castle to implode. Edward Lee Broncos 30, Ravens...

  11. Injuries have forced the Ravens to lean on a patchwork defense

When Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning goes under center Sunday, starts barking out calls and then takes one final glance across the line of scrimmage, what he sees will bear very little resemblance to any Ravens defense he has ever faced.

  13. Coffee Companion (11/28): your daily Ravens fix

Every morning, Monday through Friday, blogger Matt Vensel will hook you up with reading material -- mostly on the Ravens but with some other Baltimore sports stuff, too -- to skim through as you slug down coffee and slack off at the start of your workday. That way he’ll have an excuse to do the same to start his workday, too.

  15. How should the Ravens approach Sunday's game against the Bengals?

There are a few compelling reasons for the AFC North champion Ravens to resist the temptation to treat their regular-season finale as nothing more than an opportunity to rest injured players and protect key starters.

  17. Redskins, Jenni Rivera and an unfaithful Coco lead off a dreary Monday on the web

It's entirely possibly that I'm fudging the online trends this morning to give more weight to news of a monkey in fancy coat wandering around an Ikea. It is just that depressing today and who knows if even Ikea monkey can counteract this clinical case of Mondays.

  23. Jeff Zrebiec's Ravens-Redskins scouting report

RAVENS PASSING GAME: The Ravens are 12 games into the season and it's still hard to figure out what they're going to get from their passing attack one drive to the next never mind week-by-week. Quarterback Joe Flacco has thrown just two touchdowns over the past three games and he's been sacked 10 times during that span. Flacco is struggling to get everyone involved and his inability to connect with Torrey Smith on the deep ball figured prominently in the Ravens' 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.
