Williams missed two games during the ¿05 season with a foot injury, but still finished with 1,178 yards, six touchdowns and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in helping the Bucs to playoffs. His production tailed off in ¿06, along with his team¿s. Williams, playing in one of the worst offenses in the league, finished with 798 yards and just one touchdown. His ¿07 season ended in the fourth week when ¿ in grotesque fashion ¿ he suffered a torn patellar ligament in his right knee while trying to plant and make cut at the end of an 18-yard run at Carolina. Given the severity of the injury, his future status is uncertain. Williams career numbers show 2,184 yards and 10 touchdowns.
