The NFL ordered the Ravens to forfeit three organized team activities and fined the organization and head coach John Harbaugh an undisclosed amount for violating the league’s collective bargaining agreement during the team’s rookie minicamp earlier this month.
An investigation by the league confirmed that the Ravens had rookies and tryout participants in full pads for the start of practice on May 6, which is a clear violation of the CBA. Teams aren’t allowed to have full-padded practice until training camp.
“We made a mistake and we are sorry for that,” the Ravens said in a statement. “We accept the NFL discipline.”
