Ames United Methodist Church in Bel Air is celebrating the 10th anniversary in its current sanctuary building and has a number of services planned this month featuring former pastors as guest speakers.
The original church building was erected in 1886 and demolished in September 2001.
On the same site, at Route 1 and Bond Street, a new building was constructed. The congregation kept the fellowship hall from the former building and incorporated it into the new building.
