1. NFL draft: Titans select Columbia's Zach Brown

As a three-sport standout at Wilde Lake High School from 2004 to 2007, Zach Brown stood head and shoulders above the competition as a senior, rushing for more than 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns on the football field, winning a state title as a sprinter, and claiming a wrestling state championship.

3. Five Things We Learned in the Ravens 20-13 playoff win over the Texans

1. There is nothing wrong with conceding that Ed Reed and Ray Lewis aren't the players they once were. I don't even think that statement is really all that controversial. No man can outrun the steady march of time, not even the two greatest defensive players of this era. But in a way, I'm more fascinated watching Reed and Lewis now than I was when they were both in their prime. Because they're both still capable of conjuring up a little magic. There is something admirable about watching a great lion dig deep and mount one final, furious charge. Perfection is unnecessary. All that matters is that you live to fight another day.

5. Lewis recalls rivalry with Titans fondly

Prior to the current four-division configuration in the AFC, the Ravens had belonged in the AFC Central, a format that pitted them against Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans on a regular basis through the 2001 season.

7. This guy did the Ray Lewis dance at the Celeb Beach Bowl

If you happened to tune in for the Celebrity Beach Bowl during Super Bowl weekend, you might have caught the diehard Ravens fan who did the Ray Lewis dance after catching a touchdown pass from NFL great Warren Moon.

9. Reporters remember: Sun staff recount what stood out most from Ravens Super Bowl win

Offensive ugliness stands out
Offensive ugliness stands out The wonderment of the Ravens' 2000 Super Bowl season was, for me, the October touchdown drought by the offense, not the season-long magnificence of the defense. In October, when they did not score a touchdown of any kind...

11. Playoff win so memorable I wanted to play for Billick

It's impossible to go through the 2000 Super Bowl season without remembering the Ravens' divisional playoff win over the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.

15. Sorry R. Lewis, but Ogden is best Raven ever

It has been the source of a major debate for years. Who is the best Raven - Jonathan Ogden or Ray Lewis?

17. Sports moments that moved us in 2007

It would be foolish to look back on 2007 and remind you of every story we've covered. But here are some events that reporters remember from the year. Some they covered and some they just enjoyed as fans. We hope you appreciate them as much as they did.

19. Football returns to Baltimore

For a city that had waited patiently for more than a decade for the return of pro football, for so many whose last memory of the NFL in Baltimore was of watching their beloved Colts roll out of town under the cover of darkness, 1996 was a very good year indeed.

21. Strains, sprains and a few bad breaks

It's still early, but Deuce McAllister has to be the overwhelming favorite for the biggest fantasy flop of 2004. McAllister was a consensus top-6 pick in most leagues, but his stat line to date – 19 carries, 58 yards, two fumbles lost in two games –...

23. This week in fantasy baseball

Good news for Sidney Ponson owners, if there are any out there – Sir Sidney is on the disabled list. So if you have been inexplicably plugging Ponson into your lineup these last few months, absorbing his damaging blows to your team ERA and WHIP, you...
