Over the summer, Dulaney High School accrued many honors, and as of June the school was elevated to the status of a Model Green School.
This distinction, which is possible only for school that earn "Green School" designation two years, was bestowed based on the work and dedication of the students, teachers and staff to use resources responsibly at the school.
John Enders is Dulaney's green schools coordinator, science teacher and is also a member of the Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education.
Enders prepared the lengthy application and submitted it to the association.
