Hora wins Dundalk Heritage 6K on Independence Day

Whitney Hora came up with a big Independence Day performance Monday, winning the women's race of the Heritage 6K in Dundalk. She finished 3 seconds ahead of defending champion Elizabeth Tauber. The two Harford County women finished 10th and 11th overall among 358 men and women in the early morning race along the Dundalk Independence Day Parade route. Hora, a C. Milton Wright High School alumna and sophomore at Wilmington University, toured the 3.73-mile course in 23:40.
