Ravens rookie linebacker Xavius Boyd reverts to injured reserve

Rookie linebacker Xavius Boyd has reverted to the Ravens' injured reserve list after being waived-injured with a pulled hamstring Friday. Boyd was replaced on the roster by undrafted rookie linebacker Nick DiMarco following a minicamp tryout. The undrafted free agent from Western Kentucky cleared waivers Monday afternoon. So did cornerback Avery Patterson and safety Dexter Moody, who were also released Friday and are now both unrestricted free agents. Boyd could be removed from injured reserve with an injury settlement if the Ravens don't plan on carrying his salary for the entire season.
