Harford teams are part of a big sports weekend

The final full weekend of the 2016 fall high school sports season is upon us and Harford County is fairly well represented.

Three soccer teams will play for state titles in three different classifications, while a lone football team is up for another region football crown.

The state championship soccer play will get underway today (Friday) with Bel Air (14-4-1) attempting to win the school's first boys soccer title. The Bobcats have been in the final twice, in 1995 and 2007, but lost both.

The Bobcats will meet Walter Johnson (17-1) for the Class 4A crown at Loyola University's Ridley Athletic Complex. The game is set for 5 p.m.
