The No. 1 Roland Park girls basketball team increased a six-point halftime lead to 24 by the end of the third quarter and rolled to a 65-53 victory over St. Mary's-Ryken in the Public vs. Private Challenge on Saturday at McDonogh. Lindsey Edwards scored six of her 17 points in the third quarter, including back-to-back baskets to open the half as the Reds (14-2) went on an 11-2 run.
