State hoops: Loyola men post largest Patriot margin in 62-43 win

Loyola Maryland beat visiting Lafayette, 62-43, Wednesday night to pick up its largest margin of victory in Patriot League play. The Greyhounds' 19-point win topped its previous record of 14 points, also against the Leopards, from January 13, 2014, while Loyola's defense held Lafayette to a season-low 43 points. The Greyhounds also held Dan Trist, the Patriot League's leading scorer, to one field goal and eight points. Tyler Hubbard led Loyola (10-14, 6-7 Patriot League) with 14 points, while Franz Rassman tacked on 13 points and Andre Walker added nine to go with three assists.
