COLUMBIA, Mo. It was unspectacular at times, downright shaky at others. But No. 24 Missouri did just enough to pull away from South Dakota State on Saturday, opening the season with a 38-18 victory. It was the most points a Gary Pinkel-coached Missouri team has surrendered to a Football Championship Subdivision team in 11 games. It also marked the second-fewest points the Tigers have scored in those FCS matchups.
