Hopkins baseball coach Bob Babb elected to ABCA Hall of Fame

Bob Babb, who has been Johns Hopkins' baseball coach since 1980 and ranks as one of the winningest coaches in NCAA Division III history, has been elected to the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, it was announced Tuesday. He'll be inducted with three others during the ABCA/Diamond Hall of Fame/Coach of the Year Banquet at the ABCA Convention on Jan. 8 in Nashville, Tenn. Tickets will be available beginning Sept. 1. Babb, a 1977 Hopkins graduate, has a career record with the Blue Jays of 1,042-383-13 (.729).
