No date has been given for completing the Friday night football game between No. 6 Dunbar and No. 10 Mervo that was shut down by the Baltimore City Fire Marshal.
The game was halted because there were too many people in the parking lots and around the fences of the soldout game. Baltimore City police also reported that there were "multiple fights" outside the stadium although no serious injuries were reported.
Mervo coach Patrick Nixon and a city schools police officer said the game was suspended because emergency vehicles could not have gotten to the school side of the stadium had there been an emergency.
