FAU, FIU face challenges adapting to expensive NCAA rule changes

IRVING, Texas — FAU and FIU are preparing for change. College football's top five most powerful conferences are pushing for a sweeping shift in rules, urging the NCAA to give athletes access to an unlimited amount of food, stipends beyond their scholarships to cover all their expenses and other potentially expensive benefits.
