Junior guard Dominique Johnson scored a game-high 27 points to lead a balanced attack for the Towson women's basketball team in a 72-64 victory over host Northeastern on Sunday. Six of the eight Tigers who played scored at least six points. Senior guard Ciara Webb (Patterson) hit an early 3-pointer to jump-start a 14-4 run by the Tigers (10-14, 6-6 Colonial Athletic Association), who took a 23-13 lead with 10:04 to play in the first half. Back-to-back 3-pointers by freshman guards Shanea Butler and Breonn Hughey gave Towson a 38-23 lead near the end of the first half, Towson's largest lead of the game.
