Senior Connor Kelly became the second midfielder in Maryland history to score 100 career goals as the No. 2 Terps beat No. 6 Villanova, 13-11, in men's lacrosse Saturday afternoon.
Kelly joins Frank Urso (1973-76) as the only midfielders in program history to achieve the feat. He is the 14th Terp overall to reach the milestone.
Kelly finished the day with three goals and two assists, while sophomore Jared Bernhardt added four goals and a helper. Freshman Justin Shockey was 17-for-28 (61 percent) on faceoffs with nine ground balls and an assist.
