Sammie Knapp (Loch Raven) scored with just one second left in overtime to lift the Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse team past visiting Manhattan, 8-7, on Saturday.
With seconds left on the clock, Knapp weaved her way to the top of the arc and placed a shot over goalkeeper Nikki Prestiano's right shoulder for the game-winning goal as the Mount collected its first victory of the season.
Mount improved to 1-5 and the Jaspers fell to 2-4.
