You can try this cold turkey, but picking bowl-game winners is my job. While you're at work solving world problems, I'm doing full time what you do in your spare time. Some years are better than others. The general rule is to look for motivation in each bowl matchup. The best example was UCLA in the 2004 Las Vegas Bowl against Wyoming. One team wanted to be there and the other went by the nickname "Bruins."

With 12, Payton Manning has more touchdown passes through three games than any quarterback in history. The Broncos are also the second most prolific scorers in history through the first three games. We’ll see how fluid that offense is in November....

The Cowboys haven't snapped a down yet, and they're already one of 2013's most exciting teams.
Oklahoma State played with (orange and black) pants on fire last season in averaging nearly 46 points per game, but apparently it just wasn't entertaining...
