Charlie Miller and Jeremiah Douchee blocked two field-goal attempts in the final three minutes and host Dartmouth held on for a 20-17 football win over Towson on Saturday.
The Tigers marched 94 yards in 15 plays, but Miller blocked Aidan O'Neill's 22-yard field-goal try with 2:19 left. After forcing a three-and-out, Towson picked up 33 yards to reach the Big Green 39 with one second left. That's when Douchee blocked O'Neill's 56-yard attempt.
The Big Green (3-2) took a 20-10 lead in the third quarter when running back Abrm McQuarters took a backward swing pass to the right, then pulled up to hit Drew Hunnicutt for a 23-yard touchdown.
