Towson qualified for the Colonial Athletic Association tournament Friday night without even stepping on the field. Hofstra’s 5-4 loss at Fairfield and Massachusetts’ 10-9 setback to Delaware on Friday night cemented a berth for the No. 16 Tigers (9-4 overall and 3-1 league) in the conference tournament, which opens on Thursday. The Stags (9-5, 4-1) and Drexel (6-7, 2-2) also earned spots in the playoffs. The Pride, which routed Towson, 9-2, on Saturday, dropped to 5-9 and 2-3.
