Maryland soccer Before a home-opener crowd of nearly 5,000 at Ludwig Field, No. 2 Maryland beat No. 17 Coastal Carolina on Monday, 3-2. After being shut out for the first time in nearly three years against No. 14 Louisville on Friday, the Terps scored just eight minutes into the match, courtesy of co-captain and senior midfielder Dan Metzger.
