Mike Morsell had back-to-back steals, a free throw and a 3-pointer to help spark a 16-0 run late in the game as visiting Towson defeated Northeastern, 79-72, on Saturday.
Eddie Keith II hit a jumper for a 45-44 Tigers lead in a game that, to that point, had had 10 lead changes and five ties. Morsell ended the four-minute rally with an additional 3-pointer and the Tigers up 59-44.
Towson (14-7, 5-3 Colonial Athletic Association) was led by John Davis' 20 points and 15 from Byron Hawkins.
