With his second of five goals in UMBC’s 18-7 demolition of Lafayette on Friday night, midfielder Pat Young became just the program’s eighth Division I player to reach the 100-point mark for his career as a junior, joining a group that includes 2007 All-America attackman Drew Westervelt. “I just got to give it up to my teammates,” said Young, who has 80 goals and 23 assists. “They look for me when I’m open. It’s an honor, but getting the W feels a lot better than scoring 100 points.” Coach Don Zimmerman said Young has carried himself with a humble approach since joining the program. “That’s who he is,” Zimmerman said....
