Barbaro's owners have a Preakness entry in Divining Rod

The owners of Barbaro plan to run a horse in the Preakness on May 16 at Pimlico Race Course. Gretchen and Roy Jackson's Lael Stables is set to enter Lexington Stakes winner Divining Rod in the race, nine years after Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro broke down at the start of the Preakness and was euthanized eight months later. Divining Rod would have made it into the Derby field if entered. But trainer Arnaud Delacour said the Jacksons didn't want to rush the 3-year-old son of Tapit into the race, plus his Derby-qualifying points left his status uncertain.
