Larry Holmes is a former pro boxer and world heavyweight champion currently living in the Lehigh Valley area. Holmes was born in Georgia and currently lives in Easton, Pennsylvania. Holmes owns a restaurant in Easton, Larry Holmes' Ringside Restaurant and Lounge and hosts a talk show program on Service Electric Cable TV. Holmes is predominantly known as one of the the greatest fighters in the history of boxing. Although not from the area, he spent much of his life in the area, earning the nickname The Easton Assassin.
