  23. Dorothy Evelyn Reese (nee Miller), of Stow, Ohio

    Dorothy Evelyn Reese (nee Miller) passed away peacefully in Stow, Ohio on Dec. 15, 2012 at the age of 89, to be joined with Frank, her late husband of 64 years. Dorothy was a homemaker who loved her flowers, gardening and crocheting. She spent many hours canning and preserving the bounty of her and Frank's gardens. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Stow for over 50 years, where she was very active as a deaconess, in Guild, Vacation Bible School, and many, many other activities. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Reese, her parents Ray and Nettie Miller, son Tom Reese and brothers Jim Miller and Jay Miller. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Janice (Leon) Richardson of Corona, Calif.; son Tim (Susan) Reese of Munroe Falls; daughter-in-law Janet (Tom) Reese of Dublin; grandchildren and great-grandchildren Tim (Sarah) Reese of Cuyahoga Falls, Danny and Emily, Amy (Joe) Santuomo of Tallmadge, Lillian and Jacob, Todd Reese of Munroe Falls, Casey Richardson and Jennifer Richardson of Corona, Calif., Kristy (Ryan) Carlson of Dublin, Reese and Tommy; sisters Willadeen (John) Shumaker of Washington and Ruth (Jack) O'Baker of Somerset; brothers Bob Miller of Cuyahoga Falls, Bill Miller, Jack Miller, Dale Miller and Don Miller of the Somerset area; sister-in-law Alverda Gary and brother-in-law Floyd (Mary Catherine) Reese of Somerset and numerous nieces and nephews. She lived a full and wonderful life and will be deeply missed. Calling hours will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Stow, 3493 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio 44224 with the service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Stow Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church. (REDMON, STOW, 330-688-6631)
