Warriors' Klay Thompson makes NBA All-Star team

OAKLAND, Calif. Warriors guard Klay Thompson earned an All-Star selection for the first time, as he joined the Western Conference roster as a reserve Thursday less than a week after he set an NBA record with 37 points in a quarter. Thompson, 24, will head to Madison Square Garden for the All-Star game on Feb. 15 along with backcourt mate Stephen Curry, giving the Warriors two All-Stars for the first time since Chris Mullin and Tim Hardaway in 1993.
