David Tammaro completed a 17-yard touchdown pass to Luke McFadden to lift the No. 13 Johns Hopkins football team to a 32-29 overtime victory over host Washington & Lee in the season opener for both teams. The Blue Jays' James Sullivan made a 42-yard field goal with 22 seconds left to force overtime. The Generals scored first in overtime to take a 29-26 lead on a 24-yard field goal by Jarrett Wright. Johns Hopkins extended its regular-season winning streak to 42 games.
