Al Jefferson, Mo Williams help Hornets edge Lakers, 104-103

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Charlotte Hornets point guard Mo Williams hit a 3-pointer with a minute left and two free throws with 18 seconds left to clinch a 104-103 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers at Time Warner Cable Arena. The victory improved the Hornets 25-33 while the Lakers fell to 16-43. Center Al Jefferson had 21 points and 16 rebounds for the Hornets while Gerald Henderson added 21 points. Williams finished with 20 points and 13 assists. Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin hit an uncontested 3-pointer at the buzzer to account for the one-point margin.
