Rasual Butler served as Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal's replacement until Monday, when Beal returned to practice for the first time since fracturing his left wrist during an Oct. 10 exhibition against the Charlotte Hornets. He underwent surgery two days later, and the Wizards estimated a recovery time of six weeks. Friday will mark exactly six weeks since the injury. He hopes to make his season debut Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to a person with knowledge of his thinking, but told reporters Monday that an exact date is undetermined.
