Sophomore midfielder Amar Sejdic scored in the 26th minute to give the No. 1 Maryland men's soccer team a 1-0 victory over host No. 22 West Virginia (6-4-1) to stay unbeaten. It was the fifth goal of the year for Sejdic, as Maryland (10-0-2) is outscoring opponents by a 29-7 margin this season. Senior goalkeeper Cody Niedermeier (Broadneck) made a career-high eight saves to notch a fifth-straight shutout. Jake Rozhansky had an assist for Maryland, which returns to Big Ten Conference play Friday to host Wisconsin at 7 p.m.
