INDIANAPOLIS — Breanna Stewart, Moriah Jefferson and Morgan Tuck were named to the WBCA All-America team Saturday.
"It's so great," Jefferson said. "These are some of the last days we're all going to be able to spend together. So to be able to walk the floor together as All-Americans is amazing."
It is the first time in UConn's history that it has had three players from the same recruiting class be All-Americans simultaneously.
In addition, Jefferson was voted the WBCA's defensive player of the year. And Stewart is the winner of the Wade Trophy as the national player of the year.
