A quick look at UCLA players who were chosen in the first round of the NBA draft last June. — Zach LaVine, guard, Minnesota Timberwolves (13th pick): LaVine sat often for UCLA at the end of last season, but he has found himself in the starting point guard role with the Timberwolves. He'll likely move back to a reserve once Ricky Rubio returns from an injury, but LaVine has shown flashes of ability. Against the Lakers in November, he scored 28 points on 14 shots with five assists. In his next game LaVine was scoreless.
