Kevin Garnett was drafted out of Farragut Career Academy by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 5th overall pick in the 1995 NBA Draft. He was the first high school player directly drafted into the NBA in 20 years.

Kevin Garnett has been named to the NBA All-Star game 12 times. He was named the NBA Most Valuable Player in 2004.
