After spending his rookie year with the Los Angeles Clippers, Diamond Stone is on the move.
The former Maryland center is joining the Atlanta Hawks as part of a three-team trade, according to ESPN. The agreement will become official when the NBA’s signing moratorium ends Thursday.
The Clippers receive forward Danilo Gallinari, the Denver Nuggets free agent who agreed to a sign-and-trade deal worth $65 million over three years.
Los Angeles is then sending guard Jamal Crawford, Stone, a 2018 first-round pick and cash to the Hawks, who will send a 2019 second-round selection to Denver.
