The top-seeded Maryland men's soccer team defeated fourth-seeded Michigan State, 2-1, in the semifinals of the Big Ten Conference tournament Friday afternoon at Westfield, Ind.
Sophomores Gordon Wild and Amar Sejdic each scored as the No. 1 Terps (17-0-2) extended their winning streak to 14 games, the longest in program history. Michigan State (13-5-1) forced an own goal by Maryland to avoid the shutout.
The Terps face third-seeded Wisconsin on Sunday in the final.
