Drexel senior guard Chris Fouch was in tears after he fouled out of the fourth-seeded Dragons' Colonial Athletic Association tournament quarterfinal matchup with Northeastern at Baltimore Arena.
He carried Drexel’s offense with 30 points, but it wasn’t enough.
Fifth-seeded Northeastern used a dominant first half shooting performance to defeat Drexel, 90-81.
Northeastern will play top-seeded Delaware Sunday at 2:30 p.m. for a spot in Monday’s CAA championship game. It will be the Huskies' fourth CAA semifinal appearance in the last five years.
