Raptors' DeMar DeRozan to miss Lakers game after injuring groin

Raptors All-Star guard DeMar DeRozan will miss Toronto's game against the Lakers on Sunday at Staples Center after injuring his groin in a game Friday night against the Dallas Mavericks. In a statement on their website, the Raptors said "test results revealed a torn left adductor longus tendon. There is no timetable for his return to basketball activity. His status will be updated as appropriate." Word initially was that DeRozan had strained his groin but it was learned Saturday that the injury was more severe.
