Randle leads Stanford to 67-60 win over Old Dominion in NIT semifinal

NEW YORK Chasson Randle became Stanford's all-time leading scorer to help the Cardinal hold off Old Dominion 67-60 on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden to advance to the NIT title game. The Cardinal (22-13) will face Miami for the National Invitation Tournament championship on Thursday night. Miami (25-12) had advanced in the opening game of the doubleheader by rallying past Temple 60-57. Randle, a senior, finished with 24 points. He entered the game needing 11 points to move past Todd Lichti (2,336 point) as the school's all-time leading scorer. He did that by nailing one clutch basket after another.
