Bel Air girls get thrilling lacrosse win to move to 2-0

The Bel Air Bobcats won a thrilling girls lacrosse battle Monday night, beating visiting Episcopal Academy of Newtown Square, Pa., 11-10.

Down 8-7 at the half, Bel Air (2-0) refocused and used a stellar goalkeeping effort from senior Molly Loughlin to catapult them into a come-from-behind victory over the reigning PAISAA state champions.

Loughlin finished with 12 saves, including a critical interception late in the game. The Bobcats had a balanced attack, getting two goals each from senior Anna Farley and juniors Julia Henry and Elizabeth Hillman.

Hillman dominated the draw circle with eight draw controls, while Grace Wehland pulled in three critical draw controls....
