When the brawl broke out in the fifth inning of the Orioles' game against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday, Chris Davis was the first one in the middle of it.
One day later, the first baseman has his first day off this season.
Still, manager Buck Showalter said Wednesday is nothing more than a day off for Davis, who entered the game hitting .214 with 12 home runs in 57 games. Davis went 1-for-4 with a towering home run two batters after the fight Tuesday.
