Lacrosse player Keegan O'Connor leaves Maryland for High Point

From Sun staff and news services Midfielder Keegan O'Connor (Boys' Latin) is transferring from Maryland to High Point, Panthers men's lacrosse coach Jon Torpey announced Friday. O'Connor, who redshirted his freshman season with the Terps, was a high school classmate of High Point sophomore T Moyer. The duo helped the Lakers to an undefeated season in 2014. As captain, O'Connor had 31 goals and 11 assists to earn Under Armour All-America honors. InsideLacrosse.com rated him the No. 26 player in the 2014 recruiting class.
